We love growth, it’s at the core of what we do in construction. And recently, we’ve had the opportunity to experience some exciting growth of our own.
In August 2022, Spartan Construction began a nearly 45,000-square-foot self-storage expansion at the FreeUp Storage facility in Huntsville, TX. Serving as both the design-build partner and general contractor, our team is overseeing every phase of the project from planning through completion.
This expansion will add 31,700 square feet of climate-controlled storage and 12,940 square feet of non-climate-controlled storage, helping meet the increasing demand for secure, high-quality self-storage in the Huntsville area. Climate-controlled units provide added protection for temperature-sensitive items, making them a valuable feature for both residential and commercial customers.
Construction officially began on August 30, 2022, and the project is scheduled for completion in late 2022. Through our streamlined design-build approach, we’re delivering an efficient, cost-effective expansion that supports our client’s long-term growth.
