Zach drives Spartan Construction Management design, planning and buyout efforts as the Preconstruction Manager with 5 years of professional experience working in the industrial and commercial General Contracting industry.
Zach obtained his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University-Fort Collins and recently obtained his Project Management Professional certification.
After graduation, Zach worked for a General Contractor in the industrial sector constructing projects related to manufacturing plants and adding onto existing power plants in Texas, California, Wyoming and Colorado. Zach began his construction career as a Field Engineer moving up the ranks to Project Engineer within 3-1/2 years.
Zach and his wife always knew Colorado would be home and after 4 years, he took an opportunity to use his experience to develop new ground up commercial self-storage facilities at Spartan. Prior to projects breaking ground, Zach drives development efforts with design consultants and major subcontract buyouts including value engineering, schedule, cost and risk management, to ensure a smooth transition to the field teams. Zach’s attention to detail, well thought out planning and open communication to clients and subcontractors continues to grow relationships within the Spartan Construction organization.
Zach lives in Colorado Springs, CO with his wife and lab Zoe. He enjoys all things Colorado including fly fishing, mountain biking and snowboarding.
