“If you’re not the lead dog, the view never changes! If you’re going to take the time to do something, you might as well be the best at it. Why strive for second place?”

Rob Hamilton
Rob Hamilton brings 30+ years of construction management and building to the Spartan team. He is employed currently as a Site Superintendent in the Texas region. He began his love for building early in life constantly disassembling things to see how they operated. He knew from an early age he would work with his hands when he grew up.
He went to college on a basketball scholarship where he earned his B.S. in Accounting and Business Management. He wasn’t sure of his career path at that time, so he did a stint with the USAF where his job was Civil Engineering and Procurement. When his enlistment was over, he began working residential construction in the trades, where he earned his master HVAC license, plumbing journeyman and electrical certifications. He then began building houses, and for more than 20 years had his own business building hundreds of homes, subdivisions, multi-family housing and Government projects.
Rob has a love for construction because it’s a start to finish process where you can stand back at the end and admire what has been created. He also loves the team aspect of construction, where if we all do well, we all are awarded.
On the weekends and downtime, Rob can be found at home in Texarkana tending to his homestead. He stays busy with his 6 children and 4 grandchildren. He also spends as much quality time with his fiancée Sherry as he can. His family is very athletic oriented, so most of the time is spent at a sporting event rooting for the kids.
